Concept Mapping

Create a map of terms (mind map) on which knowledge is visualized and structured.

Concept mappings have several central starting points that are related to each other. From these starting points, details and ideas are noted as branches, from which further branches and sub-branches depart. Between the branched terms, cross-connections that are not hierarchical can exist. The structure results from the semantics of their concepts. The display elements are terms, arrows and arrow labels. These elements are brought in a relation to each other by their spatial arrangement. The terms form the basic elements of a concept, e.g.its properties or inventory. The arrows between the terms symbolize the relationships, that means there is a relationship or no relationship. The arrow labels specify these relationships. The labels and thus the relationship can be static or dynamic.
