A survey tool to gather the emotional user acceptance of specific products, circumstances or plans.
Each subject to be interrogated receives the adjective list created in advance. For each adjective pair, the interviewee gives his assessment. This is done using the 7-level rating scale.
A list with approx. 20-30 opposing adjective pairs must be created.
No direct questions are used. The semantic differential is widely used in image and stereotype research. Further areas of application are: market research, media analysis, social research.
